Working in partnership with national support agencies and local community groups, the JCT Foundation has grown into a well-respected NGO for its commitment to the alleviation of poverty for the orphans and vulnerable children in the remotest regions of Malawi.
In the face of so much need, it is a story of resilience rather than success. Now in the middle of the rainy season, resources and resilience are being further tested by the deadliest Cholera epidemic in the country’s history.
Alongside its food, nutrition, Early Childhood Development, youth empowerment, and HIV prevention programmes, the Foundation’s water and sanitation projects are key in helping prevent the spread of the disease. But, as always, more funds are needed to ensure more people can access clean water and stay safe through better hygiene. Will you us do more?
