Food is scarce

At a time when food is scarce, JCT continues to alleviate hunger in the remote, rural regions it supports. However, this has become increasingly difficult over the past two months as they wait for this year’s harvest.

Scarcity has pushed up prices, which means our support isn’t covering everything they need to maintain their food programme. As well as preventing malnutrition and increasing life-chances, feeding the youngest and most vulnerable children underpins their progressive early years education programme – so important in offering them a brighter, self-sustaining future.

We urgently need to send additional funding to help meet the shortfall. Will you help?
